Thank you Dr. Main, your assistant Loree, and to your entire staff for making me feel very much welcomed to your office as an out of state patient coming there from Idaho. I truly felt hometown warmth and kindness. After many years of conservative care and not being able to get 2 different surgeons to even help me in the Spokane, WA area, I sought out Dr. Main through searching for his name that I found. In 2009, Dr. Main had published on the internet, a case study of a patient that I identified with in similar symptoms and history regarding a chronic subluxation and/or posterior dislocation of the proximal tibiofibular joint of the lateral knee. I had a phone consultation with Dr. Main and he really listened and understood what I was dealing with. He welcomed me to his office should I want to travel to Missouri. I had no choice but to come to Missouri when all the doors were closed in Spokane for a surgical intervention. Here is a picture of Dr. Main and myself at my post-op appointment before flying home. Now 3 months later since my 5/14/13 surgery, I have healed very well. No more lateral knee pain. Dr. Main reviews my videos I send him of my progress and then he does a Skype computer appointment with me. It is the next best thing to being there in person. Dr. Main definitely cares about my full recovery just as if I were a hometown patient of his. For me, that means the most besides such a successful surgery.
