Dr. Chris Main met with a BREG Senior Vice President and 2 engineers working to develop a new knee brace design for instability. This brace would be the first of its kind for a newly discovered ligament instability. It would be developed to market to professional athlete in an aluminum frame model and also more of a soft sleeve hinged model for the non-athletic population. Dr. Main has worked with BREG for several years, utilizing multiple bracing products both non-operative and operative. BREG was started in 1985 and has become a leader in providing bracing to many different types of orthopedic injuries. They are based in Carlsbad, CA.
